Matureaccountants was set up by Chartered Accountant Martin Lloyd-Penny in 2005. Martin had discovered at first hand that:

It can be tough if you fall off the corporate ladder, whatever your age and experience.
Being over 50 and out of work is NOT a good combination!
Experienced candidates can and do offer something EXTRA.
Many recruitment agencies fail to recognise the above!
Most of the recruitment consultants he met were somewhat younger than he was!

Mature Sales & Marketing

We have completed our plan for 2008 by bring on board Trevor Lane who is going to be running Mature Sales and Marketing. Trevor began his career in 1986 in a Field Sales role working for Scottish & Newcastle Breweries. Since then he has progressed through Sales Management, Key Account Management (including the big 4 UK retailers), Key Account Controller and International Business Development in various companies. Add to this his roles in Marketing and own label experience along the way and we have secured the perfect partner to head up our new Mature Sales and Marketing Brand.

It is just over 2 years since we started Mature Accountants and we are delighted to announce that we launched a new "mature" brand on Monday 17th March. Maturelawyers.com is being run by Ed Simpson an experienced London-based lawyer who fancied a new challenge. For more details have a look at our news page. Matureaccountants geared up for a very special 2008 with a new member of staff - Tanya Brown joined Martin and Geoff working from the new Loughborough office.
