 Our bookkeepers database 
We get asked from time to time for names of experienced bookkeepers and it is useful to have a database of candidates who are interested in this type of work. Vacancies are across the UK and are usually on a sub-contract basis and of varying duration.  Hourly rates can be as low as £12 an hour and as high as £25. Good Sageline 50 knowledge is usually a pre-requisite and if you aren't up to date then a refresher course will pay dividends.

If you haven't done so already you can complete Bookkeepers request which is located on your database record.

Steps:

Go to your database record - click candidates/your record

Tick the Bookkeepers box and hit SUBMIT - this will update your record

Click on the EYE symbol and the Non-Exec form will appear. Complete it and hit SUBMIT.

 

Making your experience count - 1/2 day free seminar 13th October at the ICAEW

In response the ICAEW has developed a free half-day seminar looking at solutions to common barriers faced by experienced chartered accountants in returning to full time employment. The programme will also look at alternative career approaches. Martin Lloyd-Penny will be one of 3 speakers on the day.
