Business Description:

  The worshipful Company of Dyers was first recorded as a guild in 1188 and became a Company by receiving a Royal Charter in 1471. The Company has property and security portfolios and much of its surplus is given to its grant giving charity. The Company also provides management for its associated almshouses.

Role Description:

 Due to the steady growth of this prestigious Company, a new position of Accountant has been created. The role will be primarily, but not exclusively financial, with day to day responsibility for rent collection, insurance, banking, cash management, routine & statutory accounting, bill payment, payroll PAYE & NI, VAT and Corporation tax and some compliance work.

Experience &
Skills Required:

 The ideal candidate will be a mature qualified accountant with experience of working in a small business, with experience in property management & investments and with skills to undertake the tasks mentioned above.
