Business Description:
|
Government funded training provider that runs 20 training centres across the UK is looking to appoint a Finance Manager. As the organisation is dependent on Government funding they cannot commit to a long-term salaried position so are offering this on a one month rolling contract basis. |

Role Description:
|
Key functions include:
- Managing direct staff
- Overseeing the maintenance of ledgers and cash books
- Credit management
- Overseeing purchase ledger processing and payment runs
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Assistance with payroll and P11D matters
- Monthly Management Accounts
- Monitoring and reporting of cash flow
- Minimising working capital
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Suggesting improvements to controls and processes
- Preparation of ad-hoc financial reports and analysis

Experience &
Skills Required:
|
- Experience Accountant who has experience of the key functions listed above
- Ideally will have worked at FC or Finance Manager level
- Good Sageline 50 and excel experience
- Very hands on
- Immediately available
