My client is a £50m t/o Private Equity backed specialist Contractor based in the Midlands and they require an experienced FD. The company specialises in design and process engineering for large projects, working alongside some of the major Civil Engineering companies.

Role Description:
|
We are looking for an expereienced FD to join the team. This is a new role and the optimum scenario will be to find somebody with the right background and sector experience who is immediately available and is interested in a full time or maybe a part time role depending on the scope of the job. This can be determined during an initial 3 month review of the business needs and how this role will be integrated into the existing management team. There is an experienced FC and an accounts team of 6. The PE team has been undertaking the FD role but this is not ideal or sustainable long term. |

Experience &
Skills Required:
|
- Experienced FD within a business of this size or larger
- Strong background in large scale contracting and long term projects
- You will understand the specific issues such as income and profit recognition, forecasting and reporting for long-term projects and cash management.
- Ideally you will have direct experience of VC or Private Equity, understanding the mechanism and particular reporting requirements.
